The Giants hired Mike Shula as their offensive coordinator on Tuesday, a source confirmed to the Daily News.

Shula, 52, spent the last five seasons as the Carolina Panthers offensive coordinator under current Big Blue GM Dave Gettleman, and he served as their quarterbacks coach during Cam Newton’s first two seasons from 2011-2012.

Shula is also taking over as Giants quarterbacks coach, a source confirmed.

With the Panthers, Shula’s offense never finished in the top 10 in total offense but it did lead the league in scoring in 2015 when the team went 15-1 and lost in the Super Bowl. The Panthers fired Shula last month along with quarterbacks coach Ken Dorsey.

Shula’s first stint as NFL offensive coordinator came with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers from 1996-1999.

Shula will not be calling plays, though, as head coach Pat Shurmur has already stated he will be handling those duties.

Shula is the son of the NFL’s all-time winningest coach, Don Shula.
