Transforming your TV into a smart TV, the Amazon Fire TV Stick was a best-seller last year, and this year will probably be no different. The Stick, which allows you to access streaming services such as Netflix and Prime Video, and to watch all of your favourite programmes in Ultra High Definition, is likely to see a price reduction this year.
Now let’s consider more traditional tech – namely, phones. In previous years, there have been deals on iPhones, Huaweii and Samsung devices. This year, we predict the slightly older, but still great quality, Samsung Galaxy S10 will be in the Argos sales, with a significant discount.
One of last year’s bestsellers was the smart doorbell, the Ring Video Doorbell (2nd Gen), which gives you notifications straight to your phone if anyone approaches your door when you’re not home (and a smart HD camera allows you to see them). This year, we predict updated model, the Ring Video Doorbell 3, will be in the sales.
From a more traditional home appliances standpoint, we reckon there will be a few Dyson bargains to snap up this Black Friday. In light of the newest model, the V11, we anticipate the older models, the V7 and the V8 will be in the sales. They may not have as long a battery life as the newer models (30 and 40 minutes, respectively) but both vacuum cleaners have powerful suction, typical of a Dyson product.
One of the big-ticket items in last year’s sales was the KitchenAid stand mixer. This year, we predict the cream model will again be in the sales.
It’s always tricky to predict the kids’ toys that will be included in the Argos sales, and they’re often one of the last products to be reduced. However, based on previous sales, this year we predict reductions in selected LEGO products, as well as the ever-popular LOL Surprise Dolls.
